Since its establishment, Picador srl has founded its business on strong human values and solid principles, committing itself to developing and manufacturing its products with integrity and minimizing its environmental impact on the planet.The Responsibility policy of Picador srl, which is aimed at all employees, partners, suppliers, external collaborators and all subjects who for some reason find themselves in contact with the company's activity, can be summarized in the following fundamental points :
Business ethics
We are committed to carrying out and conducting our business with the utmost respect for ethical standards, guaranteeing integrity, transparency and compliance with current laws.
We do not practice corruption.
We do not tolerate money laundering and/or the financing of terrorist activities.
We are committed to the Know Your Counterpart activity and in compliance with the laws and regulations in force.
We are committed to respecting the principles of confidentiality and protection of confidential data.
We are committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of employees, visitors, customers and suppliers.
We exercise the utmost vigilance over our supply chain, particularly in the sourcing of gemstones and precious metals.
Social ethics
We believe and are committed to respecting fundamental human rights and the dignity of the individual, according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights sanctioned by the United Nations.
We do not tolerate the use of child labor.
We undertake not to use any form of forced labor and not to limit the freedom of movement of employees and subordinate workers.
We are committed to ensuring and improving health and safety standards in our headquarters and in our business.
We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, country of origin, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, political affiliation, marital status, physical appearance, age; so that all people are afforded equal opportunities without discrimination based on factors unrelated to their ability to perform the intended job.
We pledge not to practice corporal punishment under any circumstances and to prohibit the use of degrading treatment, harassment, abuse, coercion or intimidation in any form.
We undertake to define a procedure for managing disciplinary disputes with respect to inappropriate behaviour, based on what is defined by the provisions of the Employment Contract of the relevant sector.
We undertake to comply with current legislation, in terms of working hours and remuneration, in the absence of such legal requirements, to adopt the prevailing standards in the sector.

Environmental ethics
We are committed to eliminating or in any case reducing the use of toxic substances in the production phases, to minimize the impact on the environment, to dispose of the waste we produce responsibly and in accordance with current legislation.
